Germany, March 2026. OpenECSC 2026 is now live as part of ECSC Germany 2026. Participants can start solving challenges immediately and climb the scoreboard until 1 May 2026.
OpenECSC is open to both newcomers and experienced players. The challenge set covers multiple cybersecurity disciplines and difficulty levels, making it accessible while still offering depth for advanced competitors.

This year's OpenECSC is integrated with the German ECSC Qualifier, Cyber Security Challenge Germany (CSCG). OpenECSC is intended for everyone interested in international competition and also welcomes participants outside the classic age brackets.
As in previous years, the competition includes a shared challenge pool with partners in Austria and Switzerland. The platform also serves as a national qualifier for additional countries, including Albania, Greece, Canada, Croatia, and Luxembourg.
Please note: there will be no German Hacking Championship (DHM) this year, as the focus is on ECSC Germany 2026.
